Alexandre Roux

Born in 1972 in Valence, France, Alexandre Roux, a fan of pop, rock and folk culture, has played in a string of bands on guitar (Les Alchimistes, Mister Zog, Les Naufragés), then on bass (Barakatones, Coriandre), before venturing onto the double bass (Baptiste Pizon) and the accordion. A self-taught musician, he understood too late that lessons might have helped.

Double bass player and singer of the dance trio Jukebal, bass player of Bric à Brac Combo, he wields the acoustic guitar in the show In bocca al lupo, and the electric one whenever Mister Zog plugs back in under the name OMZ.
